These images were taken at nighttime overlooking 404 Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg. They represent a bird’s view of a microcosm of Brooklyn, New York.

I lived in a four-story walkup with a Brazilian restaurant on the ground floor. No one was ever aware of me hanging out of my windows while taking these pictures, except one time when a cop caught me looking down at him through my lens. I had to go down and reassure him I was no danger to him, and making sure that he was no danger to me.
